Megan Watson, LCSW

I have been providing therapy services since 2019, and since then I have had the honor of witnessing the resiliency and growth of many amazing clients of all walks of life. I founded Wildflower Valley Therapy to provide affordable, accessible mental health services across Virginia.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Longwood University, where I also minored in neuroscience and had the opportunity to participate in many research studies on mental health. I completed my master’s in clinical social work at Virginia Commonwealth University and I hold a state license in Virginia as an LCSW. Having a background in psychology, neuroscience, and clinical social work has allowed me to develop an integrative approach to therapy.

Seeing a therapist helped me through the hardest times of my own life, leading me to develop a passion for mental health care and dedication to supporting others. During my time off, I love relaxing with my husband and three dogs, yoga, catching up on the latest shows, and enjoying the serenity of the mountains.
